WAV Youth Ministry is ...
WAV (“Welcoming All Voices”), is the high school youth ministry program, for Saint Mary’s Parish in Los Gatos, CA. WAV meets Sunday evenings from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, with dinner. WAV students are asked to attend the 5 PM youth mass at Saint Mary Church prior to coming to the meetings at 6:00 PM. We usually gather in Hofmann Center from September through May. During the summer months we participate in assorted diocesan activities and retreats.
WAV is open to all teens from any of the area high schools. Our emphasis is on building a parish youth community of friendship and faith. The program includes fun activities, scripture, retreats, and community service. Youth with leadership skills are encouraged to become members of the Core Team.

What’s Happening at WAV? 
On August 15th we will get together and go to the beach to re-connect and check in with one another. This is a social event for everyone to come out and rebuild our WAV community and talk about what we want to do next year. Newcomers are most welcome to come!! If you would like to join us, please contact Danielle. Our anticipated fall schedule is listed below:
September 22 - WAV Parent Mtg – Required in Church 7-8 PM
September 26 - WAV Grand Opening Meeting 5 PM
October 3 – WAV Meeting 5 PM
Our WAV meetings will start at 5 PM with Mass and then we will gather in Hoffman Center for dinner and our meetings.
Each Wav Session is designed to take a look at today’s world and consider how our every day lives affect and/or effect our faith. Teens ask the questions, and we help them answer.
