St. Mary's Pastoral Council
Diane McNutt and her husband, Michael Cronk, were baptized and confirmed into the Catholic Church in 1998 and have been parishioners at St. Mary's ever since. Diane is president of a public relations/marketing communications consulting firm and Michael is editor of the Sunnyvale Sun and Cupertino Courier newspapers. They have one daughter, Jillian. Diane previously served on the hospitality committee and as a Lector. She has been on the Pastoral Council since 2003. Diane is also past Mayor and current member of the Los Gatos Town Council. Marian Gericke has been a parishioner at St. Mary’s since 1985. Marian, a Speech-Language Pathologist and Special Education classroom teacher for Sunnyvale School District, is married to Michael Gericke, an engineer and small business owner. They have two sons who are alumni of St. Mary’s School and Bellarmine College Prep. This is Marian’s second year of her three-year term on Pastoral Council. Her involvement with St. Mary’s began as a catechist for the Play Ways Program, which she enjoyed for six years. She also served as a catechist for the Glad Days and the school-based “RENEW” programs and has been a sponsor for RCIA. She served two terms on the Board of the St Mary’s School Parent Teacher Group. Phil Micciche is a long time, active parishioner at St. Mary's Parish, having been involved in many aspects of our parish life. Phil is married to Patti and has two children who graduated from St. Mary's School. His daughter is currently at Presentation High School and his son will graduate this year from Bellarmine. Maureen Tabari is a long time, active parishioner at St. Mary's Parish. She has been involved in many aspects of St. Mary’s school and parish. Maureen is a business litigation attorney, racticing in San Jose. She is married to Cy Tabari and has three children, two of whom are in St. Mary's school and one of whom attends St. Francis High School. Maureen is a "charter" member of the Pastoral Council, having worked on the committee that worked with Fr. Justin to formulate the Council. Meighan Mingrone has been a parishioner since 2000. She is married to Matt Mingrone and has three sons, all of whom attend St. Mary's School. Meighan joined the Council in 2006 and will serve until May of 2009. She can be reached at 408-395-4898.
Chris Miller has been a parishioner at St. Mary's since 2003, when he was initiated into the Catholic faith at Santa Clara University. He is very active at St. Mary's, serving as: a member of the Pastoral Council, a volunteer for the junior high and high school programs, coordinator of the young adult group, a member of the country fair committee, and a Eucharistic Minister. Chris currently teaches 6th grade at Saint Frances Cabrini School in San Jose, and is currently working on a Masters degree in Pastoral Ministries at Santa Clara. He also holds a bachelors degree in history, a California Teaching Credential, and a Masters Degree in Education, all earned at Santa Clara University. Chris also serves as an elected school board member in Los Gatos. During his free time, Chris enjoys volunteering with many different groups in Silicon Valley and riding his bike. Anne Maloney has been a parishioner for 16 years. She served on the Social Justice Committee for several years and, more recently, helped launch the Peace and Justice Council. Anne is a graduate of the Just Faith program and is a "charter" member of the Pastoral Council. This is her 6th year on the Council. Mike Moresco has been parishioner at St. Mary’s for over 20 years. He currently is a realtor at Alain Pinel Realtors. His wife Rita was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic Church in 2001 and is an ultrasonagrapher in San Jose. Their two children, Nick & Alex, are both Alumni of St. Mary’s school. Mike has been active in various activities both in the parish and school. He was chairman of the Christian Formation Committee for its first year and is in his second year of tenure on the Pastoral Council. George Montanari has been a parishioner at St. Mary's since 1989. George has been on the St. Mary's School Board, ran the live auction for three years and coached both football and basketball teams. His lovely wife, Jill, was PTG President and chaired the Country Faire and the spring auction events. Both of their children went to St Mary's elementary school. Laurie Roe joined the St. Mary’s community in 1989 with her husband Truman upon the baptism of their first daughter. Laurie served for five years as St. Mary’s School Religion Coordinator and currently serves as Liturgy Coordinator for the Sisters of the Holy Names in Los Gatos. Laurie is married to Truman Roe, a small business owner, and volunteer basketball coach. Together they have three daughters, Jenna, Ashley and Haley Roe. Jenna and Ashley are alumni of St. Mary’s School, Presentation High School and are in college. Haley is in seventh grade at St. Mary’s. Laurie has served on the Pastoral Council for one year. Laurie served on the core committee for the formation of the Liturgy Committee, is a Eucharistic Minister to the sick in our local community, has served six years as an elementary school catechist and is a third year student at the San Jose Diocese Institute for Leadership in Ministry, where her focus is Catechetical Ministry.
