The Stained Glass Windows at St. Mary's Tuesday, December 2, 7:30-9 PM Hoffman Center Dr. Cynthia Rostankowski, Parishioner and Professor of Humanities at San Jose State University, and Wesley Hogan, Stained Glass Artist and St. Mary's Parishioner. Will discuss the history and symbolic meaning of the beautiful stained glass windows in our church. More information ...
The annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service will be hosted this year by St. Mary's Parish on Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Fr. Justin will offer the homily. Corliss will direct the harmonies of the local Faith Community choirs. Those attending the service are encouraged to bring canned food to donate to Second Harvest food bank. There will be a monetary collection for the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. Festive reception follows in Hofmann -- parishioners are encouraged to bring a dozen cookies to share. Everyone is warmly welcomed!

Advent Light! The St. Mary's 8th Grade Advent Wreaths will be on sale after all masses this weekend, November 22 and 23rd in the front of the church. Pre-ordered wreaths can also be picked up at this time. The cost of each ivy topiary wreath is $28.00. The wreaths will also make a beautiful centerpeice for your Thanksgiving Table! The 8th Grade class voted that the proceeds from the sale of these wreaths will go to Catholic Charities 'First Five' program which benefits young families with children age newborn through age 5. The 8th Grade students thank you for your support of this and past outreach projects.
SHARE YOUR CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS! Continuing a tradition at St. Mary's, the Spirituality Council will sponsor a family Christmas event on Friday evening, December 12. "Christmas Traditions in Other Countries" will include food, music, dances and stories about how Christmas and Advent are celebrated in cultures around the world. More information ...
The St. Mary’s Parish Transition Team wishes to thank everyone who attended the sessions on September 13/14 and 20/21, as well as everyone who submitted their thoughts via the comment sheet in the pews and the e-mail address. The Transition Team report has been completed and will be submitted to the Diocese by the end of 2008. We will keep you informed of key dates as the year goes on. NEW SPIRITUAL BOOK CLUB AT ST. MARY'S PARISH: The St. Mary’s Spirituality Council will be sponsoring a Spiritual Book Club for St. Mary's parishioners and friends. The focus will be on reading and discussing books that have a spiritual component. The first book is Dinner with a Perfect Stranger, by David Gregory. All are welcome. All Young Adults Welcome!
We invite all young adults (anywhere from age 18-mid 40's) to join us! Officially known as the SFS YA group (Social, Faith Sharing and Service Young Adult Group), we meet monthly for fun events, service projects, and to share our faith experiences with one another. Based out of St. Mary's Parish in Los Gatos, all young adults are welcome to attend. We especially welcome our brothers and sisters from neighboring parishes, including: Sacred Heart, Church of the Ascension, St. Joseph of Cupertino, Queen of Apostles, St. Martin of Tours, St. Lucy's, St. Thomas of Canterbury, and St. Frances Cabrini, among others.
